ABOUT US
Laura Batchelder, founder of The Haus of Brows, is an NVQ Level 4 microblade and ombré brow artist. Her passion for creating the perfect brows stemmed from when she was a makeup artist, she saw lots of botched brows and found that as soon as she corrected them with makeup, it changed the entire look: it lifted the face and made people look younger. Laura absolutely loved seeing the transformation that makeup made, so she ventured into SPMU.
Laura completed her initial microblade course with NB Professional and later went on to complete her advanced microblade and shading course with them. After a year of perfecting her skills, she saw a gap in the market after many clients opted for a less natural look, so she completed an ombré machine conversion course with Boss Brows, then went on further to perfect her ombré brow skills with the famous Brow Daddy. Adding to her skills, Laura then went on to train with Art Face London, to learn the Velvet Lip blush technique. Most recently, Laura has gained her NVQ Level 3 in education and training, allowing her to teach others in semi-permanent makeup at The Haus of Brows Academy, where she trains students in Wales and beyond to become SPMU artists.
TREATMENTS
A natural hairstroke effect brow created using a manual handtool and a microblade,
the artist etches each individual hairstroke into the skin to create either a fluffy or naturally defined brow. A highly skilled treatment which can last anything from 8 months to 3 years dependant on skin type and lifestyle.
Only suitable for normal skin
Essentially an ombre brow but with the front of the brow (the bulb) microbladed to create a natural hairstroke effect at the first front 1 cm of the brow, the remainder
of the brow is filled in like a powder ombre effect.This is perfect for clients wanting a filled in brow but without an over filled front.
Suitable for all skin types however if you have combination skin or oily skin the microblading at the front may fade more at the front.
A long lasting low maintenance brow! Perfect for clients wanting a fuller effect powder brow rather than a hairstroke effect. An Ombre brow starts darker in the tails and fades to the front of the brow to create that ombre fade! Its created using tiny pixels of pigment implanted into the skin.
Suitable for all skin types!
Also known as Nano brows! An ultra realistic wispy hairstroke brow effect created using a single needle and a cosmetic tattoo machine, causing less trauma to the skin than Microblading its a highly skilled treatment with long lasting effects and can typically last up to 3
years in the skin dependant on skin and lifestyle.
Suitable for all skin types unlike Microblading which is only suitable for normal skin types.
Have the chance to have something meaningful, subtle and beautiful, tiny tattoos can be symbolic and powerful with each tattoo representing something personal to you, your family or friends. Tattoos can be designed personally with a small extra charge of £20 alternatively I have a huge collection of flash designs.
Brow lamination involves the perming and taming of unruly brow hairs, with lamination you can
manipulate hairs into your desired shape wether its fluffy or defined a thorough consultation will
allow you to express you desired result.
Along with the lami is custom colour blend tint, wax and tweeze to ensure they are shaped to
perfection finally carved out with some concealer for the perfect sharp finish.
A microbladed brow with a sprinkling of powder brow effect throughout the middle to give more definition and fullness. Perfect for those wanting something slightly darker than a microblade but without the full commitment of a strong combo. Lasts anything from 8 months up to 3 years dependant on skin type and lifestyle. Suitable for normal and combo skin types, if you had oily skin and wanted this effect you can have it by booking under the hyperealsim brow/ nano brow.
Enhance your lashes with LVL! Our Signature Lash Lift is a low maintenance solution to
give your upper and lower natural lashes more length, volume and lift without extensions.
The treatment is a perm for your eyelashes as it elevates and curls your natural lashes for four
to eight weeks. A lifting balm and volumizing fix are applied to your natural lashes to
straighten and lift from the root of the hair follicle.
